This image, released for Hubble’s 17th anniversary, shows a region of star birth and death in the Carina Nebula. The nebula contains at least a dozen brilliant stars that are 50 to 100 times the mass of our Sun.

It’s a pretty amazing photo – I can’t really get my head around the fact it’s a picture of a bunch of stars being born and dying.. but it looks good!

I’ve also just added a new page called Where I’ve Been which is just a Google map of most of the places I’ve been to – I’ve been meaning to do this for a while.

I did have my old theme saved on my comp, but I didn’t really like it that much, so I went searching for a new one. I can make my own, but I haven’t really got the time to make one from scratch. :p I found this gorgeous theme called Takteek01 which I’m using at the moment. I added the pretty image of the Hogwarts Express to the header. I might play around with the CSS a little, but to be honest this is the first theme I’ve ever really liked, so I’ll probably leave it like this.

Now that my blog looks nice, I should be motivated to update it more. I’m aiming to udpdate at least once a week, mainly on the weekend. Hopefully I’ll start posting some pictures too.

I’m gonna get back to adding bits and pieces to this new layout. Lets see what I come up with.
